Welcome to the Village of Maple Park, Illinois
Since our founding in 1854, the community has grown to 1,300 residents who enjoy a rural-setting lifestyle with quick and easy access to urban attractions. Located 60 miles west of Chicago on Illinois Route 38, commuter rail service and interstate highways are just minutes away. Housing is very affordable and a diverse mixture of both old and new. Numerous community events and programs held throughout the year appeal to people of all ages, and help make Maple Park what it is – a great place to call “home”!
Since 1854 and still growing strong!
A Message from the Village Board President:
Thank you for your interest in our community! I hope that you visit us in the near future to see firsthand all that we have to offer.
Maple Park is a growing and active community that prides itself on the lifestyle it can provide its residents and the positive economic climate enjoyed by its businesses. The Village is committed to an on-going, comprehensive improvements program for its streets and infrastructure, municipal facilities, parks and recreation, and local support services. With strong community-wide support and involvement, evidence of the success of these efforts can been seen in every neighborhood.
This website will provide you with information concerning Village government and Board meetings, upcoming community events, links to other area organizations and an “FAQ” section to help residents understand local regulations and services. We would welcome any comments or suggestions you may have as to how we can improve this site and what additional information you think would be helpful to have included on it.
